Understanding Affordable Housing Scheme

Reasonable affordable apartment never truly took off in the past, as it remained an idealistic dream for more than 10 years.

Securing an affordable house in India in urban territories at a reasonable cost, deficient foundation and a long endorsement process – were the main reasons for the non-availability of affordable houses in India. However, presently, Government is working really hard to work on these points and to control this issue.

As a large portion of us know, 'Lodging for All by 2022' is a Government of India activity under which, the past Indira Awas Yojana was renamed as Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Grameen, and another plan Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Urban, was propelled in 2015 to provide Government low income housing facility in India.

Under both these plans an aggregate of 50 million houses were focused to be worked by budgetary year 2022. The ulterior motive behind this was to provide a pucca roof to all the Indian citizens. They wanted to provide affordable properties to everyone who couldn’t afford houses. Many affordable houses are for sale under the affordable projects in Gurgaon scheme that you can have a look at.

In India, finding an affordable housefor sale was becoming a challenge. If we observe closely then we will realize that many of our citizens are living under grave condition without the constant supply of water or electricity.
